together, your own footing matters too.
Lotus Anchor offers structured, practical courses for midlife Hong Kong residents who are simultaneously supporting ageing parents and adult children — without losing sight of their own financial path.

Why Lotus Anchor
Designed around the realities of this particular life stage
Most financial programmes address one generation. Ours address the person in the middle — the one holding multiple conversations at once.
Multi-directional focus
Content that acknowledges obligations flowing in two directions — and helps you navigate both without compromising either.
Short, returnable sections
Written for people with fragmented reading time. Each section has a plain heading and one-line summary so you can pick up exactly where you left off.
Hong Kong context throughout
MPF, cross-border care costs, local legal frameworks — the specifics that matter to families based in Hong Kong.
Conversation-ready tools
Practical frameworks you can bring to an actual family discussion — not just theory to file away and forget.
Measured, respectful tone
No urgency, no pressure, no alarmist scenarios. Course materials treat readers as capable adults making considered choices.
Your own plan, intact
Every course includes a thread on protecting your own financial future — the one that often gets quietly set aside when caring for others.

Common Questions
Things people often ask before enrolling
Who are these courses designed for?
Primarily for Hong Kong residents in their 40s and 50s who are managing financial contributions toward both their parents and their adult children while also trying to maintain their own retirement planning. You do not need to be in financial difficulty — many participants are simply looking for a structured way to think through a situation that has no obvious template.
How are the courses delivered?
Materials are divided into short, returnable sections so you can work through them during whatever windows you have. Each week's content is released together so you can pace yourself. There are no mandatory live sessions, though optional discussion check-ins are available.
Do I need prior financial knowledge?
No. Each course starts from plain language and builds steadily. Participants with existing financial knowledge often find the family-dynamics and communication modules most valuable — the financial concepts are accessible to anyone who reads carefully.
Can I take more than one course?
Yes. Many participants begin with the Basics course and then move into the parent-focused or full multi-generational programme as their circumstances develop. The courses are designed to build on each other, though each also stands alone.
Are these courses suitable if my parents are in mainland China?
Yes. The courses specifically address cross-border dimensions — including care costs across the border, cross-border gifting considerations, and the distinct legal and financial arrangements involved. This is a common reality for Hong Kong families and is woven into the content rather than treated as an edge case.
What is the refund policy?
A full refund is available within seven days of enrolment if the course has not been substantially accessed. After that period, we can discuss alternatives on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us directly if your circumstances change.
